The San Luis Valley Rocketeers is chartered section #774 of the National Association of Rocketry. We are devoted to sharing our hobby through education and activities. The Rocketeers meet on the second Saturday of the month according to the following schedule:
– November through April: 6:30pm until 8:30pm at HobbyTown in Alamosa for rocket building and rocket building help. Free.
– May through October: 9:00am until 2:00pm at the rocket flying field (insert link for directions). Bring your rocket and come fly with us! Kids always fly free.
If you have questions or want help with your rocket, you can always ask at HobbyTown or just show up to any of the meet days/times listed above and you will find lots of friendly, willing help.
If you are a school or club and want to do rocketry, contact us through HobbyTown to set up a rocket building class. We can bring the program, equipment, leadership, and excitement!
