DESCRIPTION:HobbyTown and the San Luis Valley Model RR club are teaming up to show you and your family how easy it is to build a nice simple easy to handle home model railroad. We will build a working model railroad and SOMEBODY will get to take it home with them!\nThere are five slots only in this activity. We will:\n– Select a board. Paint it or cover it in preparation for the track.\n– Learn about different types of model train track.\n– Build track including a siding and ballast.\n– Connect a power pack and run the train!\n– Learn how model train cars and engines work.\n– Install a building and put lights in it so it can light up.\n– Learn how to do basic wiring.\n– Learn how to do basic scenery.\n– Plaster\, glue\, paint\, and have a messy good time!\nEverybody takes home a gift from HobbyTown.\nAt the end of the series\, we will hold a drawing and give the layout away to one of the participants!\nPrice is $50 for six sessions ($10 per night).\nIncludes two months’ membership in the San Luis Valley Model RR Club.\nTO SIGN UP:\nSign Up at HobbyTown by making a $50 donation to the San Luis Valley Model RR club. We will build a working model railroad and SOMEBODY will get to take it home with them!\nThere are five slots only in this activity. We will:\n– Select a board. Paint it or cover it in preparation for the track.\n– Learn about different types of model train track.\n– Build track including a siding and ballast.\n– Connect a power pack and run the train!\n– Learn how model train cars and engines work.\n– Install a building and put lights in it so it can light up.\n– Learn how to do basic wiring.\n– Learn how to do basic scenery.\n– Plaster\, glue\, paint\, and have a messy good time!\nEverybody takes home a gift from HobbyTown.\nAt the end of the series\, we will hold a drawing and give the layout away to one of the participants!\nPrice is $50 for six sessions ($10 per night).\nIncludes two months’ membership in the San Luis Valley Model RR Club.\nTO SIGN UP:\nSign Up at HobbyTown by making a $50 donation to the San Luis Valley Model RR club.
