DESCRIPTION:Indoor carpet racing is a fun\, affordable\, family-friendly wintertime RC activity. Races run on the Third Saturday of each month at HobbyTown. Emitter required for the timing system. Pick one up at HobbyTown\, they are returnable.\nPoints will be accumulated every month\, with the race fee purse distributed at the end of the series among the top points winners. Race fee is an affordable $10 per racer.\nNightly schedule is:\n– Track is open all day.\n– Official practice starts at 6:00pm with the timing system set up and running. GET AN EMITTER from Hobbytown.\n– Vaccuum the track.\n– Heat 1 at 6:30pm\n– Heat 2 at 6:45pm\, and so on until the Main Event\nHere’s the Points System:\n1st in a Monthly Main = 10 points\n2nd in a Monthly Main = 9 points\n3rd in a Monthly Main = 8 points\n4th in a Monthly Main = 7 points\n….with the point awards being one point less for every lower place.\nDrivers will be allowed to drop their lowest race finish from their season totals.\nWe have a timing system. Come with your car ready to accept an IR transmitter. It uses a servo port on your receiver.\nThe intended class for this series is 1/18th scale open.\nOpen play – test + tune is the Saturday prior to a monthly series race\, or any time the Rec Room is open.\nCome race with us!

DESCRIPTION:Kealladius is a homebrew world created by Keith Hershey Jr. \nIn the beginning the proud Elves of Kraztenzia formed the Enyiserine Empire. They quickly enslaved the other races to do their bidding. After thousands of years\, humans and other races have rebelled and thrown off the chains of their masters\, the elves. It is now 60 years after the last rebellion. New kingdoms are forming\, lost ones are being rediscovered\, as well as new lands being discovered to the Northwest. There are other dark secrets to this world such as the Blood Plains deep within the world where the infernal wars between Demons and Devils still takes place fueling the core of the world. \nAs the Enyiserine Empire slowly fades away other Empires and Kingdoms grow in power. The Dragovar Empire consists of legions of Dragonborn led into battle by their Dragon Lords against the Kingdoms of Holdheimia\, Moldavia\, and Uqain. A Beholder reigns terror upon his newly gained kingdom of Movenail through assasinations. Mindflayers are plotting and spreading rapidly in the Kingdoms to the South\, namely Kirthing. \nNew lands are being claimed far to the Northwest\, but it appears someone or something has been here before. \nSomething or someone is driving hoards of monsters against the goodly races.

DESCRIPTION:Everyone is encouraged to bring their best completed models of cars\, aircraft\, miniatures\, military\, Gundam\, trains and dioramas to HobbyTown in Alamosa on November 2nd. \nWhat do you need to do?\n1- Have\, build\, or finish one or more models for the above categories.\n2- Show up on November 2nd between 12pm and 7pm to register and display your entry. \nAll community members are asked to come visit and place your vote for People’s Choice award between November 2nd and November 8th. \nThe contest categories are:\nVEHICLE including street cars\, hot rods\, trucks\, and motorcycles.\nAIRCRAFT all scales\nMINIATURES including role playing games and tabletop war gaming.\nMILITARY including armor\, military vehicles\, ships\nDIORAMAS including figures and scenes\nGUNDAM judged by grade if entry volume dictates\nSCI-FI including rockets\, space\, star wars\, and related figures\nRAILROAD including buildings\, scenes\, and rolling stock\nJUNIOR 15 years and younger on judging day\nBEST IN SHOW\nPEOPLE’S CHOICE \nModeler Entry Fee:\n$5 for your first entry\n$3 for each additional entry\nAll fees go toward the prize purse!\nNo more than two entries per category\, please. SUMMARY:Halloween community tournament D&D 5e
DESCRIPTION:Everyone is encouraged to dress up in your favorite costume and bring your favorite dish for Halloween Potluck.  We will be running a D&D 5th edition tournament. \n10th level adventure.  Pregens will be available.  Some PvP may be present. \nMiniatures and terrain will be used for this adventure.  If you have a painted miniature to use for this adventure along with a character you created\, you will receive either one free hazard token or one free boon token. \n$5 individual fee – 1 ticket for the D&D tournament and costume contest.\n$20 Adventuring band fee – includes tickets for 4 players for both the D&D tournament and costume contest.  Requires a name for the adventuring band and be willing to take on up to 2 random players.\n$5 Hazard token – Purchase tokens to hand off to other competing adventure parties to thwart their progress.  Hazards include wandering monsters\, traps\, and puzzles.\n$5 Boon token – Purchase tokens to help ensure the success of your party.  Boons may be used to bypass traps\, wandering monsters\, or could be handy health potions. \nAwards will be held for best Costume and Best Adventuring team.  More prizes available based on attendance.
